Night Studio

The Night Studio woodcut and paintings, (see reproduced here) are quite autobiographical. Working at dusk and night, the oak tree which hangs over the workshop feels like a floating seaweed or brain in the sky, a sort of telescope or large ear sucking in images, sounds, conversations and ideas into the studio below for me to use in my pictures. TH
