Burning Bush

Burning Bush started as a drawing several years ago while on holiday in Brittany and mulled around in my head for ages. The painting (titled Cabin, see image here) took ages to make and became in the process an image more about an alter ego, living the simple life in the woods without responsibilities. It was also a Boy’s Own fantasy imagining an ideal working location for one’s practice. Island Studio is another image that is about this. TH
